Starting with two academics at its founding, our school has grown to over 20 academic staff with dozens of PhD students. The school represents a diverse range of expertise but all contribute to a unique blend of design engineering research culture and practice.

This leads us to wonder: how is design engineering research positioned to tackle society’s most pressing issues? Researchers share the latest thinking on how design and engineering deliver distinct outcomes via interdisciplinary work.
